Frequently Asked Questions

Can light exercise be beneficial?

Yes, once the initial rest period has passed, light aerobic exercise can support recovery. Activities such as walking or stationary cycling at low intensity can improve blood flow and reduce symptom persistence.

Exercise should be introduced gradually and stopped if symptoms worsen. Structured, supervised programs are especially helpful for individuals with prolonged recovery or exercise intolerance.

Early, guided activity has been shown to be more beneficial than prolonged inactivity. Movement helps maintain physical conditioning, mood, and confidence during recovery.
