Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the most important thing after a head injury?

The most important priority after a head injury is recognizing symptoms and monitoring for worsening signs. Red flags such as increasing headache, repeated vomiting, confusion, or excessive drowsiness require immediate medical attention.

Early evaluation and appropriate rest reduce the risk of complications and prolonged symptoms. Avoiding activities that could result in another head injury during recovery is critical.

Prompt care, patience, and gradual return to normal activities support full recovery. Taking even “mild” head injuries seriously protects long-term brain health.
